Full spectrum quantum sensor with handmeter
The Full spectrum quantum sensor is a simple handheld meter for measuring growth light in any type of light. The MQ-501 is very compact and can also be called a "pocket handmeter".

The MQ-501 is a compact hand meter with an SQ-500 growth light sensor mounted on the back. It is sensitive to light with wavelengths between 389 and 692 nm. This covers the entire growth light spectrum.

The MQ-501 also has a sample and log mode. This log mode takes a reading every 30 seconds and stores the average over half an hour. After the meter has logged a full day it stores the sum of the half hour averages. This is the total number of grow lights for the day. This data can be read on the display of the sensor. In addition, the logged data can be stored by USB on a PC.

The MQ-501 is calibrated for sunlight and artificial light, with artificial light is meant a white fluorescent lamp that emits "cool-white" light.
