Anderline to combat spider mites
Amblyseius andersoni
Anderline contains the predatory mite Amblyseius andersoni. The predatory mite is an important fighter of spider mites (Tetranychus urticae). It also affects other spider mite species such as: fruit spider mite, citrus mite and various gall and rust mite species. In addition, Andersoni also develops on pollen and thrips. For this reason, even in the absence of spider mite on alternative food sources, Andersoni can maintain itself in the crop. The predatory mite is already active from 6 °C and occurs naturally in Dutch shrubs and trees. A. andersoni is therefore native and can survive well in our climate. Early in spring, with the emergence of the first (spider mites), A. andersoni is already active and therefore the suitable predatory mite to suppress the pest at an early stage. A. andersoni is very resistant to high temperatures and/or low humidity and is therefore extremely suitable for along facades in greenhouses.

Packaging
Anderline is delivered per 100 gemini bags. The contents of a culture bag consists of various stages of Andersoni predatory mites, feed mites and carrier (bran). In the bags there is continuous production of Amblyseius andersoni. Over a period of four to six weeks, dosed large numbers of predatory mites are released from the small holes in the bags.
Anderline is also available as:
Instruction for use
Keep product cool until use. Allow the product to cool down to (greenhouse) temperature. Prevent too rapid an increase in temperature, this can lead to a temperature shock for the predatory mites. Open the box with the (twin) bags in the crop. Fold the twin bag and hang it over a trunk, branch or wire with the printed side facing outwards. Hang the bags in a place sheltered from the sun. Avoid contact with heating and CO2 pipes. The degree of use always depends on the pest pressure in the crop, so ask the product specialist for the correct dosage.
Storage and transport
Upon receipt, check the product for discrepancies and report any complaints or comments within 24 hours. Preferably use the product immediately. If storage is required, the product should be stored horizontally and in a dark place in a ventilated room at a temperature of 15-18°C and an air humidity of 70-80% for a maximum of 24 hours. If the product is stored longer and/or under different conditions Royal Brinkman is not liable for any loss of quality.
