Product description

OtherERcontrol in bulk for spider mite control

Amblyseius andersoni
OtherERcontrol contains the predatory mite Amblyseius andersoni. The predatory mite is an important pest control (Tetranychus urticae). It also has an effect on other spider mites such as: fruit spider mite, citrus mite and various bile and rust mites. Andersoni also develops on pollen and thrips. For this reason, Andersoni can maintain itself in the crop even in the absence of a spider mite on alternative food sources. The predatory mite has been active since 6 °C and occurs naturally in Dutch shrubs and trees. A. andersoni is native and can easily survive in our climate. Early in spring, when the first (spider mites) appear, A. andersoni is already active and therefore the suitable predatory mite to suppress the pest early on. A. andersoni is well resistant to high temperatures and/or low humidity and is therefore extremely suitable for use along facades in the greenhouse.
