Aphidius colemani
APHIcontrol contains mummies of the parasitic wasp Aphidius colemani. The adult parasitic wasps will hatch and parasitize aphids by inserting an egg. Aphidius colemani has a very good search capability. The parasitic wasps depends on the aphids to complete their life cycle.

Aphidius colemani mainly parasitizes the smaller aphid species such as Aphis gossypii (cotton aphid), Myzus persicae (peach lice) and Myzus nocotianae (tabacco lice).

The parasitic wasps find aphids in the crop even before they can be seen, so these parasitic wasps are very suitable for preventative use. Aphids can occur in almost all crops. The Aphids have no defends against parasitic wasps. The parasitic wasps leave empty mummies on the crop. This can be at the expense of the decorative value in some crops. This does not matter for vegetable crops. It is advisable to regularly use the parasitic wasps in the greenhouse.

APHIcontrol is supplied in bottles with buckwheat as carrier material, which protects the mummies from moisture and possible damage  during transport.

APHIcontrol is also available as a mix with other types of parasitic wasps, for the simultaneous control of multiple aphid species.

User instruction
Introduce the parasitic wasps at dusk. Open the package at the place of use. Divide the mummies equally over the surface to be treated. Spread the mummies on sun-sheltered and dry places.

Receipt and storage
Upon receipt, check the product for abnormalities and report any complaints or comments within 24 hours. Preferably use the product immediately. If storage is required, the product should be stored horizontally and in a dark place at a temperature of 8-10°C for a maximum of 24 hours. If the product is stored longer and/or under different conditions Royal Brinkman is not liable for any loss of quality.
